Murshed ("the App") is a bilingual trainer and coach discovery platform serving the MENA region. This Privacy Policy explains how Transformational Awareness ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use the Murshed mobile application and website (murshed-26.web.app).

By using Murshed, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

We collect the following categories of information:

Account Information
• Name, email address, phone number, and password (hashed)
• Profile photo (optional)
• Preferred language (Arabic or English)
• User role (student or trainer)

Trainer-Specific Information
• Professional title and biography (bilingual)
• Years of experience, specializations, and certifications
• City and country of operation
• Uploaded certification documents

Usage Data
• Bookings, course enrollments, and session history
• Reviews and ratings you submit
• Favorites and saved trainers
• In-app notifications and interactions

Technical Data
• Device type and operating system
• Firebase installation ID (anonymous analytics)
• Crash logs and performance data (via Firebase Crashlytics)

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display trainer profiles to students searching for coaches
• Facilitate booking requests between students and trainers
• Send in-app notifications about bookings, approvals, and updates
• Process trainer verification and admin approvals
• Improve app performance and fix bugs
• Comply with legal obligations
• Send important service-related communications

We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties.

We share information only in the following circumstances:

With Other Users
• Trainer profiles (name, photo, bio, specializations, ratings) are visible to all app users
• Student names appear on booking requests sent to trainers
• Reviews you submit are publicly visible on trainer profiles

Service Providers
• Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, analytics, crash reporting)
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store (app distribution)

Legal Requirements
• We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

All Firebase data is stored and processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

• All data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) with encryption at rest and in transit
• Authentication uses Firebase Auth with secure password hashing
• Firestore Security Rules restrict data access to authorized users only
• Firebase Storage Rules protect uploaded files
• Trainer profiles require manual admin approval before going public
• We regularly review and update our security practices

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information through the app's profile settings
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data (see Delete Account section)
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format
• Withdrawal: Withdraw consent for optional data uses at any time

You can request deletion of your Murshed account at any time. Upon deletion:

• Your profile will be permanently removed
• All personal data associated with your account will be deleted within 30 days
• Anonymized data (e.g., aggregate statistics) may be retained
• Booking and review records may be retained in anonymized form for dispute resolution purposes

To delete your account, visit our Delete Account page or go to App Settings → Account → Delete Account.

Murshed is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided personal information, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:
• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Notify users through in-app notifications for material changes

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
